Hi I would like to inquire if medical check is needed when extending the chinese residence permit for family reunion ( married to chinese). Thank you

If it is just extending an existing residence permit, you do not need a medical check.
But if your residence permit expired and you’re applying for a new one, then you would need a medical check.
