Hi everyone, we are moving within Shanghai but from Changning to Jing’an district. Can we register our new address online (we have permanent residence status through a Z visa) or do we have to go in because we are moving to a new district? Thank you.

Hi Lin,
Yes, you can register your address online. If an error shows, then visit the designated police station in-person.
