This is a follow up from Ben. I am Canadian, I don\’t believe the consulate in Shanghai provides authentication. I was hoping that since the notarization is coming from something as official as a consulate of a country, it wouldn\’t need to be authenticated. What are my options?

A Canadian friend of mine got his through this service: https://commissionaires.ca/en/national/service/criminal-record-checks
He got it a few years ago when they didn’t have the online service and did it before coming to China.
