Flying on a 60-day automatic visa extension

I am wondering if anyone has experience flying to another Chinese city with an expired visa? I am currently on my 60-day visa extension but I am worried when I go to the airport to fly to Beijing, the airline will say I can’t fly because my visa (on paper) is expired. I can’t find a document or anything on the visa extension to prove to them that it is valid. I’ve been trying to get in contact with China Eastern Airlines but they still seem to not know the answer to this. I’m not sure if I need to make a trip to the airport or the entry-exit bureau or if anybody has experience with this.

Thanks!

Hi Brianna,
As far as I know, you are allowed to travel domestically when you’re on the 60-day visa extension.
And whenever you travel domestically, they shouldn’t really care about your visa. It’s only when you’re crossing the border internationally should they really check for your visa.
If they give you problems, tell them to baidu to the 60-day automatic extension.
My two cents.
