Hello
I just came to realize that we can apply for 3 months overstay when our current visa has been expired and we are on a work permit process. is that true?

I’ve never heard of 3 months overstay. If you could share the link to the source / where you heard this from, would love to know.
Pretty sure you’d need to apply for a humanitarian visa if you have run out of time on your current visa. They usually issue a humanitarian visa that has a 30-day duration.
